N2 - Thermostating of the aqueous solution of Na 9 [SbW 9 O 33 ] with K 2 [Ir(OH) 6 ] at 70 °C for 17 h changes the solution’s color from blue to brown. The addition of KNO 3 to the reaction solution and subsequent evaporation in air causes crystallization of the products to yield yellow crystals of composition K 5.47 Na 2.3 [Ir 0.17 Sb 0.83 W 6 O 24 ](NO 3 ) 0.6 ·12H 2 O containing an Anderson-type anion [SbVW6VIO24]7− with ∼20% of antimony positions occupied by iridium.
