N2 - Gas hydrates are a special state of matter because of theirproperties to concentrate significant volumes of gas in themselves.Different hydrate forming gases have different thermobaric regions ofexistence. These properties of gas hydrates create a prospect fordeveloping promising industrial technologies for their synthesis anddissociation. This paper reflects the effects of surface-activesubstances (surfactants) on the synthesis of gas hydrates. The maintypes of surfactants and their influence on the hydrate formationprocess are shown.
