Profile Information

The main direction of scientific research in the laboratory is associated with experimental and theoretical modeling of heat and mass transfer processes during intense phase transformations and finding ways to intensify them. The main studies conducted in the laboratory include the following.
Modeling the kinetics of the growth of embryos of a new phase under conditions of rapid creation of a deep metastable state of the maternal phase; modeling of kinetics of total phase transformation.
Experimental study of two-phase disperse systems; study of the dynamics of dispersed inclusions in conjunction with the characteristics of the carrier phase in technological processes occurring in power plants using modern high-speed techniques.
Searching, synthesis and study of the properties of new functional materials based on dielectrics, ferroelectrics and antiferroelectrics for energy storage and transportation devices, as well as for non-volatile memory.
Development of technologies for the synthesis and transfer of graphene structures; the study of their physical and chemical properties.
Investigation of the processes of synthesis and decomposition of gas hydrates.
Investigation of the energy characteristics of new oxide multifunctional materials based on transition and rare-earth elements in order to create a new generation of devices.
The main objective of the laboratory is to develop the physical foundations of modern energy technologies
