N2 - DiPoly is a new software combining main diffraction methods for the structural characterization of biopolymers. This freeware has a user friendly interface and allows processing experimental XRD powder diffraction patterns of polymer samples of biomasses of various origins. The sizes of coherent scattering regions are determined from the Scherrer equation, the degree of crystallinity is estimated using a complex approach based on Segal, decomposition, and Le Bail methods. The software can be used for the development of standardized methods of structural diagnostics in scientific research related to synthesis problems and for production control.
