Profile Information

The main activities of the laboratory:
- development of experimental (including in-situ) and computational methods for studying the chemical and phase composition, crystal structure, nanostructure and surface structure of powder nanomaterials, their diagnostics and certification based on the integrated use of diffraction, spectral, magnetic resonance and electron -microscopic instruments;
- fundamental research on the structural features of matter in an ultrafine state;
- the study of phase transitions and phase transformations determined by dimensional effects;
- the study of nanostructural mechanisms of stabilization of nonequilibrium states;
- the structure and conditions for the formation of 3D highly porous nanosystems and compact 3D materials, including nanocomposites;
- studies of the stability of nanostructured materials under various conditions of exposure to temperature and medium by in situ methods, including X-ray diffraction using synchrotron radiation.
