N2 - A new polymorph of the [ReCl3(MeCN)(PPh3)2] complex is synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). Its recrystallization from the CH2Cl2/ROH (R = Me, Et) mixture is found to result in the formation of the [ReVOCl2(OR)(PPh3)2] – its oxidation product. The crystal structure of the new [ReOCl2(OEt)(PPh3)2] polymorph is determined by single crystal XRD.
