N2 - In this present paper an experimental study of a dry patch formation of the water layer on the sapphire plate is presented. With help of IR-camera the heat transfer processes are studied and visualised in water liquid layer. These results will be used for the heat transfer solution inside sapphire plate. The first of this research is to determine the temperature distribution on the upper part of sapphire glass to solve heat transfer equation for full sapphire glass.
