N2 - The genetic-related differences in a spectral power distribution of resting-state EEG was compared between two groups of healthy participants - the Russian and Yakutian students. The SS genotype of 5-HTTLPR polymorphism was associated with lower alpha band spectral power, but higher delta and theta power in comparison with L/- genotypes. However, the ethnic-related differences in spectral power density, which were independent on 5-HTTLPR, were also revealed in the same frequency bands.
