N2 - A struvite/kappa-carrageenan composite is synthesized from an aqueous solution of a polysaccharide and inorganic precursors. The phase and elemental composition, as well as the sizes of composite particles in an aqueous colloidal solution are studied by X-ray phase analysis, X-ray energy dispersive analysis, and dynamic light scattering. It is shown that this promising prebiotic composite is capable of producing diffusion-mobile aqueous colloidal solutions with varying degrees of association of the structural elements, which is convenient for use in biomedicine.
