N2 - Vertical natural vibrations of buildings are studied in order to determine their features and degree of hazard. It is shown that in buildings, in addition to vertical modes formed as a result of interference, natural vibrations can arise from pumping of the energy of horizontal natural vibrations when coupling occurs in vibrations of the components. Vertical natural vibrations of buildings are significantly affected by the change in mass due to equipment and materials inside them.
