N2 - A mathematical model for two-phase granular fluids is developed for capillary suspensions and it satisfies the basic principles of thermodynamics. A detailed analysis is given for steady Couette flows between two cylinders. The model is checked by experimental benchmarks: capillary forces prevent the phase separation. The greater the capillary forces the stronger the resistance to phase separation. It has been long recognized that yield stress is attributable to the surface tension between particles and interstitial fluid. We discuss such an issue. It is proved that the particles can outrun or lag behind the liquid depending on the rheological properties of the capillary suspension.
