N2 - A new mode locking fibre laser configuration is proposed that delivers record-high energy (150 nJ) of short linearly polarised pulses (~ 200 ns) without external amplification. It is further shown that such performance may be achieved by elongation of the laser cavity with a standard PM-fibre.
