N2 - A comparative analysis of the components of a heat flux occurring in evaporation of various liquid droplets suspended on fibers from different materials (polyvinylchloride, asbestos, optical fiber, and horsehair) blown with dry air is presented. The contribution of free convection, radiated emission, and heat transfer through a fiber supporting an evaporating liquid droplet to an integral heat flux on its surface has been determined. The effect of the droplet size, the temperature and velocity of air flow, and the dimensions of suspension and its material on the relationships of the heat flux components on the droplet′s surface has been studied.
