N2 - Reliable data on 7Li(p,p'γ)7Li reaction cross section and photon yield from a thick lithium target are important for many applications including boron neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors. Experimental data on cross section differ greatly from one author to another; experimental data on photon yield are extremely scarce. Measurements of the reaction cross section and photon yield were carried out at the accelerator-based neutron source at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics (Novosibirsk, Russia) using a NaI and HPGe γ-ray spectrometers. The 7Li(p,p'γ)7Li reaction cross section and 478 keV photon yield from a thick lithium target at proton energies from 0.65 MeV to 2.225 MeV have been measured with high accuracy. The data obtained are presented in the form of tables.
