N2 - The high-voltage electron cooling system for the NICA collider designed at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics SB RAS is the first system that will simultaneously cool two ion beams. Since cooling system must be installed on the NICA collider, the distance between the axes of the cooling channel beams corresponds to the distance between the collider beams. This is the first thing that influenced the entire design of the facility. Another factor that directly affects the density of filling the solenoids with conductor is limiting the power consumption of the facility. The design features of the building and the sequence of final assembly at the installation site play an important role. The design of the magnetic system of high-voltage electron cooling system of the NICA collider developed with the imposed limitations is described.
