N2 - Reticulon family is well known because of reticulon RTN4A participation in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases as an inhibitor of neuronal growth and regeneration of axons in the central nervous system. This review is devoted to the participation of reticulon proteins in human neurodegenerative diseases development (Alzheimer's disease, lateral amyotrophic syndrome, multiple, sclerosis, etc.), as well as viral replication and chronic kidney disease.
