N2 - Abstract: Experiments are performed on suppressing vertical oscillations of the synchrotron radiation beam of the VEPP-3 storage ring by introducing fast feedback. The detector, based on pin photodiodes with an electronic signal processing path and an electromechanical system of automatic alignment, is a beam position sensor. A pair of iron-free coils is used as a quick corrector. 30 dB suppression of oscillations with a frequency of 50 Hz and 25 dB suppression of powerful interference with a frequency of 690 Hz are obtained in experiments.
