N2 - Magnetic properties of tetra- and pentanuclear complexes, Ln4(dbm)4(O-btd)6(OH)2, Ln4(dbm)6(O-btd)4(OH)2 and Ln5(dbm)10(OH)5 (Ln = Er, Dy, Yb; dbm = dibenzoylmethanide, O-btd = 4-hydroxy-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole) were studied. The X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) O1s spectra of the studied compounds were obtained and analyzed. The mechanisms of exchange interactions in these compounds are discussed.
