N2 - The paper presents results of the investigation of electric properties at the detonation of trinitrotoluene (TNT, trotyl, C7H5N3O6) charges with different preparation methods, structures, and densities, with the addition of glass microspheres and water. The detonation characteristics are compared with the literature data. We discuss the nature of the electric conductivity, the connection between the kinetics and conductivity, and the influence of inert additives. Most of the experimental data on the electric conductivity are presented for the first time.
