N2 - Abstract: The results of measurements of the transverse dimensions and coordinates of the center of gravity of the electron beam in the storage ring of the Kurchatov source of synchrotron radiation (KISI), which were obtained during injection and when working for users, are analyzed. The beam image recorded in the optical wavelength range using a digital camera at the optical observation station (OOS) of the KISI storage device was analyzed. The search for possible sources of the transverse beam instability during operation of the installation for users was performed.
