N2 - The system is described for the preliminary plasma creation in the GOL-PET facility. Currently, after this system was considerably reconstructed, it is based on a high-voltage discharge system with pulsed gas injection. The new system was studied on the subject of whether, with its help, it is possible to create preliminary plasma with different longitudinal and transverse density distributions. The results obtained are presented which seem to be encouraging.
