abstract = "We present an approach of true amplitude seismic imaging by means of weighted summation of multi-shot multi-offset data. In order to compute these weights one should trace Gaussian beam (GB) starting from some current point within target area towards acquisition system. All GB are chosen possessing the minimal width at this starting point. That means that the pattern of each of these GB already takes into account both geometrical spreading due to heterogeneous nature of the overburden and illumination condition due to the acquisition system. Global Gaussian beam regularity enables one to deal with ray field with any kind of singularities.",
