abstract = "Using phase schlieren system we have measured the shape of thermocapillary bump in the gas-driven (nitrogen) locally heated water film flowing in the minichannel. The measurements were conducted for liquid and gas flow rates corresponding to Rel=5.6 and Reg=73.5, respectively, and heat flux of 2 W/cm2. The paper shows a qualitative coincidence of the experimental results obtained for the locally heated flowing liquid film and the numerical results on the deformation in a locally heated shear-driven water film flowing in the minichannel.",
