This makes it relevant to study the morphological equivalents of the immune response of lymph nodes, taking into account age and the rate of aging. The research purpose is to study the structural organization of lymph nodes at different rates of aging.METHODS: The experiment was executed on young and old white rats of Wistar and OXYS. The age of rats is 3 months and 1.5 years. Rats of the Wistar and OXYS lines are received from Institute of Cytology and Genetics of SB RAS. N.G. Kolosova is a holder of the license for OXYS rats. These rats have genetically caused defect of metabolism with great content of oxygen radicals, it is considered as an accelerated aging syndrome (Kolosova N.G. et al., 2014). We investigated by a morphological method of mesenteric, inguinal and tracheobronchial lymph nodes. Statistical data processing was performed with licensed statistical software package StatPlus Pro, AnalystSoff Inc.RESULTS: We carried out comparative characteristic of structure of lymph nodes at the natural and accelerated aging. The stage of the maximum development of compartments of lymph nodes precedes involution of lymphoid tissue at the natural rate of aging. The structural answer of a lymph node is optimum for rats of Wistar, and this answer is expected rather long period of life. We found a high degree of correlation between trace elements and compartments of the lymph node. So, the content of Fe and Se is associated with all structural and functional zones of the lymph node, Zn and Cu ± with lymphoid nodules, Cu, Mn ± with the cortical plateau and medullary cords. With age, lymph node compartments are minimized with reduced trace elements content",
