N2 - A new approach to the synthesis of hybrid carbon materials based on the use of reactive polyvinylenes as the precursors of carbon is proposed. The possibility of the incorporation of nitrogen- and metalcontaining modifying additives into the carbon structure in the course of its formation from the above polymers is demonstrated.
