N2 - The study of shock-wave processes during explosions of dust and methane-air mixtures in coal mines is necessary for development and improvement of systems and means of explosion protection. One of the ways to reduce the damaging factors of an explosion is a set of permeable obstacles located at a certain distance from each other in a labyrinth order and forming a permeable barrier. One of the ways to reduce the damaging factors of an explosion is a set of permeable obstacles located at a certain distance from each other in a labyrinth order and forming a permeable barrier. As a result of reflection from the obstacle on its surface behind the front of the reflected shock wave, a high-pressure region is formed several times higher than the pressure behind the front of the incident shock wave.
