N2 - New models of dependent failures in communication net- works are discussed in the paper. These models allows ana- lyze situations with successive dependent failures with lim- ited range of spreading and with simultaneous failures of several elements, as channels, as nodes. Formal models' de- scriptions are presented along with proofs of their correct-ness.
