N2 - The effect of the external periodic perturbation on the flow structures and velocity distributions for three stationary flow regimes existing in the T-jet microchannel was investigated using Micro Laser Induced Fluorescence (μLIF) and Micro Particle Image Velocimetry (μPIV) techniques. The in-phase periodic perturbation of the flow in inlet channels at a fixed amplitude and varied pulsing frequency was generated. It was obtained that for a constant Strouhal number determined for several flow regimes the mixing efficiencies are different. The mean flow velocity for examined stationary flow regimes is significantly changed in case of flow perturbations.
