N2 - The paper analyzes the combined method of production of a metal-ceramic composition coating based on Ti, Al, and B4C. Method consists of the consequent applying of the cold gas-dynamic spraying (cold gas dynamic spray or CGDS) and laser processing. It is discussed the conditions of formation of metal-ceramic tracks on the cold spray coating regarding the parameters of the laser action and CGDS structure. Microhardness of cold spray coatings and laser tracks has been studied. It is showed that boron carbide particles react with the titanium matrix under the laser action resulting in emergence of new ceramic particles of TiC and TiB2.
