N2 - The paper presents the results of laboratory studies and pilot tests of the production of foamed glass based on the silica clay from Shipovo field (Republic of Kazakhstan). It is shown that the granulated foamed glass can be commercially produced from widespread siliceous raw material, using home equipment.
