abstract = "The paper deals with the problem of numerical simulation of the modes of pulse air outflow into a vertical pipe, filled with liquids with different physical properties (water, ethanol, glycerol), implemented in the OpenFOAM software package. This problem has a wide range of technical applications, ranging from the modeling of emergency operation of the liquid-metal nuclear reactors to the depressurization of underwater pipelines, functioning of the shipboard technical systems, etc. For obtaining verification data visualization experiments were carried out. The results of numerical simulation and experimental data are in satisfactory agreement.",
