N2 - Fluoroaromatic compounds play an extremely important role in drug design and diagnostics, especially in positron emission tomography. During the past decade, efficient and environmentally benign methods of fluorination were developed. This chapter covers experimental results published during last decade. Older works will be referenced only when necessary for understanding of the discussed results. Special emphasis will be given to radiofluorination. Also, some aspects of the fluorination of organoelement compounds will be covered.
