N2 - The slotted nozzles can be an alternative to Laval nozzles. The jets inflowing through the holes can be directed towards each other (opposing jets) or be focused at a single point on the axis (focused jets). It has been shown numerically and experimentally that it is necessary to consider the effect of viscosity for the numerical modeling of focused jets in order to predict the flow parameters on the channel surface. Nevertheless, the calculation accuracy based on the unsteady Euler equation is quite sufficient for averaged values in the output cross section.
