abstract = "One of the current issues of efficient energy resources usage is to improve the efficiency of associated petroleum gas utilization. The solution is connected with the additional expenses for the oil companies, especially for those which are involved in the development of small deposits, distant from the infrastructure. Calculations of the economic efficiency of the associated petroleum gas utilization production technology application were carried out on the basis of the information provided by one of the enterprises of Russia (Tomsk region). The open exchange of economic information on the implementation of certain technologies and the determination of economic feasibility of the associated petroleum gas usage under the conditions of the particular field will contribute to the development of the best experience of rational subsurface usage by oil producing enterprises. Results of calculation of economic efficiency of carbon black production from soot for the deposits with the recoverable reserves of about 5 million and the average distance from the nearest pipeline-40 km, showed that at an average cost of carbon black of 1300 $ per tone, the payback period will be 5.4 years. Calculations of economic efficiency of GTL-technologies application on an example of Tomsk region deposits showed that the payback period for deposits with similar characteristics and at an oil price of 30 $ per barrel will be 3-4 years. In addition, the implementation of GTL-technologies in the process of associated petroleum gas utilization on the field will allow to get transportable products with high added value, to improve the ecological environment in areas of oil and gas production, as well as to minimize the payment of fines for excessive APG flaring. Economic analysis indicates to the necessity to expand the list of useful innovative technologies of associated petroleum gas usage. This will not only improve the competitiveness of companies, but also reduce the negative impact on the environment, which is important due to the implementation of United Nations programs realization in the sphere of environmental protection.",
