N2 - Millimeter-wave accelerating structures are being developed at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics. These structures are of interest for both high-gradient studies and plasma wakefield acceleration, where electron bunch trains with millimeter periods are highly promising for high-electric-field excitation. Estimations of millimeter-wave structure excitation are provided and compared with simulation results. Requirements for the focusing magnetic system are obtained; the excitation of beam dynamics in the millimeter-wave structure was performed taking into account possible magnetic-field configuration. Measurements of the manufactured millimeter-wave structure prototype are presented.
