N2 - The paper presents an improvement of the heated thin foil technique, which allows to study nonstationary transport processes. Mathematically, the problem is reduced to solving the heat equation with data on a time-like surface. A new numerical method for its solving is proposed. The efficiency of the proposed calculation scheme is demonstrated on a model example.
