N2 - Paper deals with interfirm cooperation of high tech and innovative companies. This cooperation is rather flexible and could take various forms. Empirical data are obtained through survey of Siberian small and medium size companies. Special part of the inquiry is devoted to partnership cooperation analysis. It was found that innovative companies consider partnership cooperation to be an important component of firms' activities. However in most cases these relations are developed spontaneously without regular management. Several key actors got high scores as main partners; managers plan to improve cooperation with them. Our calculations revealed that large domestic and foreign corporations turned to be reliable partners.
