N2 - Abstract: Needle-like Cs2Mo7O22 (7×1×1 mm) and plated Cs2Mo5O16 (4×3×2 mm) crystals were obtained by spontaneous crystallization method from Cs2Mo5O16 + 2%Cs2O and Cs2Mo7O22 + 2%Cs2O melts. Peritectic nature of Cs2Mo5O16 and Cs2Mo7O22 compounds was confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis. Cs2Mo5O16 and Cs2Mo7O22 crystal structures were constructed based on X-ray diffraction data. Unit cell parameters of Cs2Mo5O16 and Cs2Mo7O22 crystal samples were measured in 0-450 °C temperature range and thermal expansion vectors were calculated. Photoluminescence was registered on both Cs2Mo5O16 and Cs2Mo7O22 samples at 80 K.
