N2 - We theoretically study the generation of a Kerr frequency combs in a cylindrical microresonator with an effective radius variation. We investigate a model describing the propagation of the whispering gallery modes on the surface of an optical fiber coupled to a source. We also discusses the details of the numerical scheme and the effect of numerical dispersion on the nonlinear generation of axial eigenmodes.
