I am interested in physics of a hot plasma, especially in its interactions with long relativistic electron beams. Such beams play a crucial role in the generation of solar radio bursts. In the laboratory, electron beams are used as sources of powerful narrowband radiation, as well as in the context of fusion research. To study such systems, I develop methods of direct numerical simulation using my own relativistic electromagnetic particle-in-cell code based on Nvidia GPGPU, as well as apply theoretical methods of plasma physics. The approaches I developed allowed us to interpret beam-plasma interaction experiments in open magnetic traps and also allowed discovering and investigating new plasma methods of emission generation by electron and laser beams.
