Profile Information

The laboratory was established in April 2014 and in February 2015 the NSU team became a member of the CMS collaboration. The CMS detector is one of four detectors operating on the LHC collider. The wide range of experiments are conducted on the CMS to test the standard model, study the Higgs boson, and search for new particles. Laboratory is currently involved in the calibration of the electromagnetic calorimeter, the R&D backend electronics for the new MIP Timing Detector for CMS and data analysis
