Organisational unit: Research Laboratory
In the carbon nanomaterials laboratory is working on the synthesis, screening and study of physicochemical properties of new types of carbon nanostructures and hybrid materials based on them. Researcher laboratory methods have been developed for obtaining materials such as fullerene, carbon nanotubes, nanohorny, nanodiamonds, graphite, porous carbon, etc., and various methods have been developed a variety of methods of functionalization of carbon nanomaterials through fluorination, oxidation, etc. The creation of composite materials based on carbon nanomaterials and their properties allows us to discover new potential areas of their use. Comprehensive diagnostics of carbon materials, including studies by X-ray spectroscopy (XRD, XPS, NEXAFS) are important for studying the electronic structure of new materials. Today, important and relevant tasks are solved by young scientists in the laboratory, often they are NSU students
