Organisational unit: Research Laboratory
The laboratory's activity is aimed at developing and improving methods for the synthesis of new nanostructured objects, thin film and bulk materials. This is done in combination with the study of their microstructural, optical and electronic properties, as well as the creation of functional devices based on them. The resulting set of physical characteristics of the manufactured materials, taking into account their real defective structure, will highlight promising areas of their application in microelectronics, photonics, and laser technologies. Theoretical approaches and computational algorithms will be developed that will make it possible to fairly accurately assess the physical properties of multicomponent dielectric crystals with the replacement of matrix elements in cationic and anionic sublattices. This direction is especially significant for the development of new functional microelectronic devices such as memristors and highly efficient luminescent media with a controlled emission spectrum.
